Yaritza Villalba is an award-winning global Education Consultant, Speaker, and the CEO of McKenzie’s Adventures. With over a decade of experience, she is dedicated to creating an equitable and inclusive educational landscape. Yaritza's innovative approach has earned her the prestigious ISTE 20 to Watch Award.
Her journey began at the State University of New York at Albany and continued with a master’s degree in Adolescent Urban Education from Long Island University, Brooklyn. She has taught Social Studies in Brooklyn, served as an Assistant Principal, hosted a global EdTech series, and consulted internationally.
Yaritza leads McKenzie’s Adventures, focusing on Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education (CRSE) and Project-Based Learning (PBL). She champions global collaboration through culturally responsive teaching and student agency, impacting over 4,900 classes globally. Yaritza is a visionary reshaping education, committed to diversity and inclusion.
