About me
Rudy Escobar is a passionate STEM and Computer Science Coordinator with over a decade of experience advancing inclusive PreK–12 education. With expertise in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, physical computing, project-based learning, and NGSS-aligned science, Rudy is dedicated to expanding access and opportunities for all students, especially those underrepresented in STEM.
He has developed statewide resources, organized C-STEM camps, mentored teachers, guided districts on strategic plans, and led workshops empowering parents to advocate for their children’s STEM and computer science education. Rudy also contributes nationally as an ISTE U AI Instructor, a member of the CSTA Board and Executive Committee, and Co-chair of CSforCA, where he leads efforts to strengthen computer science and AI literacy.
Through his leadership, policy work, and coaching, Rudy is committed to guiding the future of computer science and STEM education, inspiring educators, and ensuring meaningful opportunities for all learners.
