In this hands-on workshop, we'll transform the beloved anthem "Deep in the Heart of Texas" into a captivating symphony of light, sound, and motion. Together, we'll explore the Micro:bit's versatile features – from its dazzling LED display and built-in speaker to its motion-sensing capabilities and integrated microphone – and learn how to orchestrate them using Microsoft MakeCode. No matter your coding experience, you'll discover how to program the Micro:bit to create rhythmic light shows, generate melodies, and even respond to your movements, all synchronized to the iconic Texan tune. Join us for a collaborative coding experience that blends music, technology, and computational thinking in a uniquely Texan way!
